The Round Pressure Cover can be used universally. With the versatile options, it can be optimally adapted to your respective process.
This round pressure cover uses the same design as the 8 bar version. However its wall thicknesses are laid out stronger to withstand the higher operating pressures.
Our 3A Round Pressure Dome Cover, model RPDC-3A, has been tested and approved in compliance with the American 3-A Standard. The 3-A symbol is engraved on the finished cover as a conformity symbol for this version. Seal, seal groove, surface, flange contour, etc. conform to the requirements of 3-A Standard 84.
The 1-bar cover is our light-duty pressure cover. It can be used for pressure ranges of +1 to -1 bar. The standard version is laid out for temperatures up to 150°C (or higher on request).
This conical cover is frequently used for beer tanks as outlet opening in the tank. It is possible to produce this cover with completely conical flanges ensuring a sterile seal.
Oval pressure covers are frequently used on vessels with limited space. Production of these covers is more expensive than round pressure covers.
Fully automated processes also require a tank seal with fully automatic function. This version of our pressure cover can be operated pneumatically (standard), as well as hydraulically or electrically.
Do you need a filling opening or observation glass (if necessary with illumination and wiper) all hinge-mounted? Our glass pressure cover was developed especially for this purpose.
Similar to the Glass Pressure Cover, the Meta Glass Cover also serves as an observation window or small opening for taking samples from the vessel.
Here it was important for us to keep the height of the flange as low as possible to improve CIP cleanability of the cover. When the cover is closed the toggle bolts are positioned in the slots and screwed down with the plastic star handles with knurled washer.
This tank seal serves as an observation and access opening for pressureless vessels. This seal is not intended for side installation in the vessel wall. It is frequently used in breweries to allow better observation of the processes through the large opening.
This cover is used primarily in storage tanks in the beverage industry. It seals from the inside, however its oval shape also allows it to be removed from the tank.
On this units, a flat plate installed on the inside serves as the cover. A groove for an O-ring seal is incorporated into the cover. The quality of the seal can be adapted as required
The oval handhole cover serves as a small revision opening for vessels and pipelines. It is available with or without PED certification and can be used for pressures up to 3 bars depending on the version.
This cover serves for sealing tanks air-tight. When screwed in, the profile gasket presses against the inside of the cover, forming the seal.
This cover is designed for pressureless operation and installation above the level of the liquid. The crossarml with just one single bolt, makes opening and closing the cover particularly quick and easy.
This cover has a seal flush with the vessel-wall, eliminating dead space. This version is suitable for pressureless vessels not requiring PED certification.
This cover has a seal flush with the vessel-wall, eliminating dead space. This version is suitable for pressure vessels with PED certificaion.
Stainless steel covers complying to DIN28124-3 for pressure vessels and equipment in technical processing plants.
Round stainless steel covers complying to DIN28125-1 for pressure vessels and equipment in technical processing plants. These hinged covers can be used as manholes (openings for entry by humans or for inspection).
The safety grates is a safety feature for installation in manhole necks. It can be installed in all of our manhole covers.
The safety cross is a safety feature for installation in manhole collars. It can be installed in all of our manhole covers.
Our tank feet are adjustable feet for vessels. The union sleeve is usually welded to the tank foot. The foot dome is screwed in and secured with a counter nut

In the meantime we also offer a wide range of fastening elements for our covers. The line ranges from standard plastic star handles to stainless steel star handles, collar nuts (open and capped version), ring nuts, double toggles, etc.
Heavy covers can frequently be opened and closed only with considerable effort. Spring assists provide support for your personnel. We offer a wide variety:
Our Special Equipmentconsists of safety devices for our manways.for example: Safety Eyebolt, Pressure Release system, Safety Release System or a wedge for side installation.
Replacement borosilicate glass plates to DIN 7080 or soda-lime glass plates to DIN8902 are listed in the attached data sheet.
The enclosed data sheet contains information about the various sizes, materials and approvals for the O ring seals of our covers.
This seal profile closes the gap between cover and collar almost completely. The surface is equivalent to a flat seal when closing. This seal form is available in the qualities silicone and EPDM.
Is the glass broken? Or a seal defective?
When replacing the glass of a glass cover, we always recommend replacing the seal, too.
The profile seals for our pressure-free dome cover have a seal lip on the inside of the cover as of a nominal width of 200.
In the data sheet available for downloading, you will find a short overview of the seals for our oval hand-hole cover 190x240. These seals are available in the qualities, silicone and EPDM.
No Zimmerlin cover? Conical seal shape? Urgent replacement required? Our data sheet "Special seals" offers an overview of our special seals.
